Trippki will offer a differentiated booking channel that will exist alongside the current OTA players. The key points of differentiation to current OTAs are i) the Trippki model is designed to incentivise the direct relationship between the hotel and its customers and, unlike the large OTAs that charge high commissions (up to 30%), Trippki will only charge a minimal fee of 2.5% to cover the costs of operating the platform, and ii) the hotel can design specific reward offerings to loyal customers and provide smart Trip rewards to customers that have real value.
Every time a customer makes a booking with Trippki or a participating hotel they are rewarded a portion of the daily rate in Trip. Only once they check in, we call this Proof of Stay.
Hotels can offer various rewards based on 1 night bookings or if you have stayed in one of the group hotels within 3 months, or they can reward you for making use of in-house services.
Customers can earn rewards by writing reviews and sharing on social media or referring friends and family.
